Biography:
I am a family sociologist. My research interests include families – in particular partner relationships and partner effects – work, and health. My major line of research centres around informal caregivers. Demand for informal care is rising and will continue to do so in the years to come. I am interested in the consequences of providing informal care for work and well-being of the caregiver, as well as how these impacts may depend on the caregivers’ life stage.
